MY STORY SO FAR...

Art, my anchor, my shelter and my shield...

Art grew in me slowly. I loved drawing as a child but then I forgot all about it until I reached adulthood and went through some difficult times. Art was there to give me a purpose, at once giving me an escape from my problems while safely anchoring me in the everyday.

After the realisation of artmaking’s importance into my life, I had to go on and study it! I started with a foundation course in London and went on to complete a BA fine arts at the Norwich School of Art and Design.  It was at NSAD (now NUA) that  I discovered printmaking and after specialising in etching I have now introduced relief printmaking into my practice.

As a mother of three, my practice is sometimes disrupted and slowed down somewhat!... but I have striven over the last year to create and share my best work with a willing audience. My work is forever evolving alongside my level of confidence and competence. I hope you will be willing to accompany me on this journey…
