Art in Lockdown
The pandemic that has put the country into gridlocks has meant that I could do one thing without feeling guilty for it: staying at home!... two things really: staying at home and making art. I am very lucky for the fact that I love being at home and that now I have a spacious space in which I can make art. So in actual fact I carried on doing what I usually do, except that it felt good to know that other people could also indulge in an activity I love and hence feel like being a part of an ever growing community of artists, united in the desire to create some beauty and certainty while the world beyond our front doors is becoming an estranged and perilous place.
